System details
Omarchy v3.2.2
What's wrong?
Describe the bug
I configured a custom SDDM theme on Omarchy Linux by creating /etc/sddm.conf.d/autologin.conf with the following content:
[Theme]
Current=silent
The theme directory exists in /usr/share/sddm/themes/silent and contains theme.conf. However, after restarting SDDM:
The login screen still shows the default Breeze theme
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install Omarchy Linux
Place a custom SDDM theme in /usr/share/sddm/themes/
Create /etc/sddm.conf.d/autologin.conf with [Theme] Current=
Restart SDDM
Expected behavior
SDDM should load the configured theme and optionally respect autologin if enabled.
Environment:
OS: Omarchy Linux (latest)
SDDM version: [run sddm --version]
Session: Hyprland (Wayland)
Theme: silent(or any compatible theme)
Additional context
It seems that SDDM does not read the /etc/sddm.conf.d/ configuration
