Hello there.
As I was setting up my brand new setup of
omarchyfor the second time this month I got tired of fumbling with the/etc/fstabfile over and over again to get my local shares working. So I created a script that does all of that for me with less hassle.Currently it upholds the
omarchy-style as I used theomarchy-tui-install-script as a template.The credentials are stored inside
~/.share-credentials/in a one file per connection manner. But if you have at least one credential pair you can reuse it with following shares. From the given data a line for the
/etc/fstabfile is being generated and appended to it.Afterwards the daemon is reloaded and all mounts are being remounted.
Here is the code: https://git.itsscb.de/itsscb/omarchy-custom/src/branch/main/bin/omarchy-mount-add
I bet it can be further improved and I'm looking forward to your feedback.
Thanks.
