AMI_OUTDATED_CHECK not only check private AMI #381

As description the script AMI_OUTDATED_CHECK.py only check all private AMIs, but I tried to launch EC2 using public AMI such as Ubuntu 20.04 ( ami-0b168c89474ef4301), the script still check compliance this AMI.
Is there something wrong or what might causing this issue
