Unable to run demo in expo

Upon running the build the following error is received:

`Error: './platforms/assets/app_icon_xxxhdpi.png' could not be found, because './platforms/assets' is not a subdirectory of any of the roots  ('/Users/serdarmustafa/native-kitchensink')`

Steps to reproduce: 

1. Clone repo
2. npm install
3. navigate to folder and run `expo start`.
