I very doubt recompiling for RPi5 will change anything because the architecture is backward compatible with Rpi4 and the problem is related to something else in Libreelec addon installation folder. Did you install the addon as recommeded in the manual? |

libreelec simply does not see the file. I don't even know what the problem could be. I'll try to think about a solution to the problem in the morning. Maybe I'll try to recompile it myself |

The problem with Libreelec is that my VM has already reached its disk limit and is taking up about 60GB with the precompiled Libreelec cache for RPi4 and x64 add-ons. The build is very simple, all you need is a desktop or virtual machine and it takes about a few hours to complete. The next build will be much faster because the cache already exists so I never clear the cache for RPi4 and x64. The manual is here: https://github.com/awawa-dev/HyperHDR/wiki/Compiling-HyperHDR#libreelec In near future probably I wont be able to add a direct support for RPi5 addon if the architecture is in fact a problem. |

Yes, that confused me too. It seems that the main problem does not lie in any changes in Libreelec itself, but because they changed the architecture from arm to aarch64, so the add-on needs to be recompiled for Libreelec 12 beta anyway. When a stable version is released, I will update the add-ons. |
