Whats the 2025 version of this template?

this template is still a very good starting point for deep-learning research. However, things have matured now so there is more of a need for systems that can scale up better. The question remains the same: if someone would start with a deep-learning projects, whats the best way to do that. Things that have changed since 2023:

• hydra had no new release since 02/23
• it seems that lightning is used less often than a couple of years ago compared to transformers, but i don't have numbers to back this up.

• From hydra, you can use lightning built-in CLI, FYI https://github.com/tshu-w/lightning-template
• Transformers are only from LXMs and can used with lightning Trainer (which is better than Transformers Trainer).
