Assume I have a directory (tree) starting with top folder
D:\tools\projects\myproject123\logfiles\
Lets call it "criticalfolder"
Now I want to find out if the files in the criticialfolder sub tree exist anywhere else on partition D:\
I don't want to move the criticialfolder outside to another partition.
Instead the search should be done between the 2 file pools:
1.) The "inner" criticalfolder
and
2.) The "outer" folder D:\ EXCEPT the inner criticalfolder
Duplicate files INSIDE each file pool should be ignored.
How can I achieve this with dupeGuru?
If I drag D:\ to dupeGuru,
Then exclude subdirectory D:\tools\projects\myproject123\logfiles
and finally drag D:\tools\projects\myproject123\logfiles
then dupeGuru tells me:
"D:\tools\projects\myproject123\logfiles" already is in the list"
I guess this is a bug in dupeGuru
Thank you
