Some blender extension are really useful in archeology, but not present in the Blender official release. We could do an extra package (similar to one of QGIS: https://github.com/lucaarcteam/qgis-archeos-plugin) to implement Blender with this plugins. A very interesting extension would be the one developed by Dalai Felinto and mentioned in this post (http://arc-team-open-research.blogspot.it/2015/12/three-more-animals-are-saved-with-aid.html) by @cogitas3d to use Cork within Blender.
