We as members, contributors, and maintainers of Arcane Labs projects pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
- Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility, apologizing to those affected by our mistakes, and learning from them
- Focusing on what is best for the overall community
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information (physical or email address) without explicit permission
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards and will take appropriate, fair corrective action in response to behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces — issues, pull requests, discussions, and any official Arcane Labs communication channels — and when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the maintainers at community@arcanelabs.info. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Maintainers are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter.
Maintainers will follow these guidelines in determining consequences:
- Correction — Private, written warning with clarity around the nature of the violation and an explanation of why the behavior was inappropriate.
- Warning — Consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the people involved for a specified period.
- Temporary Ban — Temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period.
- Permanent Ban — Permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.

This Code of Conduct serves as the default for all arcanelabsio repositories. Individual projects may override it with a repo-local CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md.
