First of all, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your excellent work on the xow64-wine project. It's a fantastic effort to bring Windows applications to ARM64 devices on Android, and I'm very impressed with the results.
I'm writing to you today to request a feature enhancement that I believe would significantly improve the gaming experience with xow64-wine: the ability to easily integrate and utilize Turnip and DXVK.
Currently, it's a bit unclear how to properly install and configure these components within the xow64-wine environment. While Turnip is typically installed system-wide on Termux, integrating DXVK into the Wine environment requires manual intervention, which can be challenging for some users.
It would be incredibly helpful if you could consider adding built-in support or providing clearer instructions for using Turnip/DXVK with xow64-wine. For example:
Automated DXVK installation: Perhaps an option within the xow64 script to automatically download and install a compatible DXVK version into the Wine prefix.
Turnip detection: Automatically detect if Turnip is installed on the system and configure Wine to utilize it.
Documentation: Provide detailed documentation or a tutorial on how to manually install and configure these components for optimal performance.
Integrating these features would make xow64-wine even more powerful and user-friendly, especially for gamers looking to run more demanding titles.
Thank you again for your hard work and dedication to this project. I look forward to seeing its continued development.
Sincerely,
