Describe the bug

a single batch request from the router to subgraphs is creating 4 spans, burning datadog bytes and span ingestion

Expected behavior

just keep subgraph_request batch, and get rid of instrumenting process_batch and process_batches functions and batch_request, or use debug level as I do believe that was the original intention with these spans.
