At this point I think it's better to migrate to another Static Site Generator.
Wowchemy/hugo blox is just too volatile.

Lots of people recommend Astro, which looks cool and has a gazillion themes. Quarto, Eleventy and Vitepress are also good options.

In most cases I feel like there's more work do get to the same level of polish compared to the current setup, but it's also simpler and more reliable.
