# [Feature Request] Freeze headers and row labels on scroll in Pivot Table chart

Description

Currently, when viewing large Pivot Tables with many rows or columns, scrolling vertically or horizontally causes the column headers (top headers) and row labels (first columns) to scroll out of view.

This creates a poor user experience for data analysis because:

1. Scrolling down causes users to lose context on what metric or dimension each column represents.
2. Scrolling right forces users to scroll back and forth repeatedly just to check which row/entity the data belongs to.

Desired Behavior / Proposed Solution

Sticky headers/frozen columns should be supported as a standard built-in feature for Pivot Table visualizations:

1. New Control Panel Options (Display Settings):

• Freeze Top Header (Sticky Table Header): Keeps column headers fixed at the top of the viewport when scrolling down vertically.
• Freeze Row Header (Sticky First Column / Row Labels): Keeps the row dimension labels fixed on the left side when scrolling horizontally.

2. Default Behavior:

• Both Freeze Top Header and Freeze Row Header should be enabled by default (or easy toggles under the chart customization panel) to match standard spreadsheet (Excel/Google Sheets) and modern BI tool conventions.

3. Visual Cues:

• Add a subtle border or drop-shadow on the pinned header boundaries during scrolling to clearly distinguish sticky headers from scrollable content cells.

• Dramatically Improved Readability: Users can easily navigate large multi-dimensional datasets without losing track of row or column labels.
• Consistent UX: Aligns Superset's Pivot Table capabilities with industry-standard spreadsheet software and competitor BI tools.
