When is it expected that Hive catalog support will be available?

I don't think there's anyone currently working on Hive Catalog support yet, so I don't have an estimate at all for now. Sorry.

I think Hive metastore Catalog is still widely used in China and I noticed that the Hive type has been added to the catalogs.
The official documentation also includes clear tutorials on integrating Hive Catalog.

I've been developing with Go for the past few years, and I also have previous experience using Flink with Iceberg.
I think I can make a simple local draft before being assigned
