Call me out if this is already a feature for the apisix ingress controller, but I have not found anything about this.

With the adc you can convert OpenAPI specs to APISIX configuration, but this is not out of the box pasteable into an APISIXRoute (I think this was also a feature in the apisix dashboard, but I have not used this). I think it would be incredibly useful for user adoption to have a tool for this.

I imagine this either being implemented in the APISIXRoute resource itself or a separate tool like the adc.

You may consider converting OpenAPI to HTTPRoute. The current version supports the Gateway API, and there are tools available to facilitate this conversion.

I since found out that these tools exist with Kuadrant for example. This is good enough for me. I imagine it still would be a nice feature to have if you want users to adopt the ApisixRoute resource over the HttpRoute. This feat can be closed unless you think it would be a good feature to have for the AIC.
