[BUG] Installation failing on Windows 11 Pro

What's Wrong?

I have run the installation via curl, and separately with 'irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex' and am not getting any
claude.exe in my bin folder. I've also tried as administrator in powershell. Setup issue notes:

• installMethod is native, but claude command not found at
C:\Users\Administrator.local\bin\claude.exe

The assistant only suggests using npm install but I don't have/want Node. I'm not sure what I'm missing. Windows defender isn't noting any blocks.

What Should Happen?

Install should create an exe that I can link my path to

have the same, wont reinstall even after remove and reboot. vscode extension works fine. exe wasnt found in .local. redownload wont reinstall these (using the script).
