Gift subscription redeemed but account stuck on Free plan – no human support available #1298

Summary:
I redeemed a Claude Max gift subscription over a week ago. The redemption page confirms "This gift has already been redeemed" but my account still shows as Free plan on both claude.ai and Claude Code CLI.

Steps already taken:

Support channel status:
Support portal (support.anthropic.com) shows blank page after login – cannot submit ticket. Email support only connects to AI bot which explicitly states it cannot perform backend operations or connect to human agents.

Expected behavior:
Max plan should have been applied immediately upon gift redemption per Anthropic's own documentation.

Actual behavior:
Account remains on Free plan. 7+ days of paid Max plan access lost with no resolution path available.

Please have someone on the backend team verify the redemption status of this gift code and manually apply the Max plan entitlement to this account.
