Selecting to the left or up with the Ellipse tool

Just wanted to let you know that when selecting with the ellipse tool, it works as expected when mouse moves to the right, but works unexpectedly, when moving mouse to the left. See the GIF:

Other tools worked as expected.

Thanks for reporting! I was actually aware, but there wasn't a ticket for this yet.

For context: the ellipse plugin is a third party contribution. It's basically on my list to look into this, but there's lots of other stuff with higher priority ATM. I.e. if anyone fancies a pull request :-)

Just to add to this, similar behavior happens on the y-axis. If you go down the ellipse is drawn as expected, if you go up you get the strange translation moving the ellipse up the screen.
