ng5-slider within a modal (Angular Material)

Hi, the ng5-slider seems not to be sized correctly if it's in the body of a modal dialog (angular material in my case).

Here is the stackblitz

If you open the dialog and change the value of the slider, the slider seems to be resized.

Is there a way to fix this?

I'm on angular 8, angular material 8
ng5-slider: 1.2.4

this fix works for me only in version 1.1.2

and in your ts file do this.

@ViewChild('slider') slider;

ngAfterViewInit() {
this.reRender();
}
private reRender() {
this.slider.init();
this.slider.init = () => { };
this.ref.detectChanges(); // ref is ChangeDetectorRef
}

This is a known issue with a workaround using manualRefresh object.

However, there is still something not quite right with the sizing even when using manualRefresh. I will have a closer look.
