A creative way to generate donations for a nonprofit or general cause.

== Description ==

IfThenGive allows donors to create a billing agreement for automatic donations based on specific events / achieved goals.  For example, If {event occurs} Then Give {donation amount}.

Examples:

* If {baseball player} hits a home run, Then Give $5.00.
* If {football player} scores a touchdown, Then Give $10.00.
* If {student} runs in the fundraiser race, Then Give $1.00 for each mile completed.
* If {politician} participates in a debate, Then Give $100.00.
* If {child is baptized}, Then Give $25.00.
* If {national disaster occurs}, Then Give $500.00.
* If {it rains} Then Give $1.00.

The possibilities are endless!

== Installation ==

= Minimum Requirements =

* WordPress 3.0 or higher

= Automatic installation =

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don't need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of IfThenGive, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type IfThenGive and click Search Plugins. Once you've found our plugin you can view details about it such as the the rating and description. Most importantly, of course, you can install it by simply clicking Install Now.

= Manual Installation =

1. Unzip the files and upload the folder into your plugins folder (/wp-content/plugins/) overwriting older versions if they exist
2. Activate the plugin in your WordPress admin area.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What does BETA mean? =

This plugin is being released to the public to get feedback and improve.  It has been tested internally and functions well, but there might be some bugs or general user experience problems.  If you find these, please [let us know](https://www.angelleye.com/support)!

= Do I have to have a PayPal account in order to use IfThenGive? =

Yes.  The IfThenGive system is built entirely on the PayPal platform.

= What does it mean that Billing Agreements are required? =

When somebody sets up a billing agreement with you, this allows you (your application) to process payments on their behalf at any time.  This requires approval by PayPal, and it needs to be specifically enabled on your account.  If this is not done, this plugin will not work properly for you!
