It's bitty to see this great app dies without any support.. Wondering if there's any chance to bring back life? Else, any alternative?

Well, it still works for the most exchanges, and if the Android SDK used is a problem, i can still live with the state we have now.
I hope ofcourse in the future someone will pick up development. I dont see a free alternative for now.

I can confirm it still works if you install the latest version com.aneonex.bitcoinchecker_2.64.1.apk from Softonic on a degoogled Android 13.

I just ran a bunch of the free web-based virus and malware scanners on this APK and nothing came up, but of course no one can guarantee Softonic or some hacker can't change the file they're serving when you click Download in the future, so 3rd-party web-sourced APKs should always be scanned right before you install them.
