Loading extension results in unexpected shutdown on Windows 11

I apologize if this isn't an actionable issue but I thought it was worth reporting.

I've had no issue with this extension for the past 6 months, until last week when I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Suddenly, a few moments after opening VS Code my computer would simply turn off. Not BSOD, just turn off entirely.
After disabling my 40+ extensions and slowly reenabling them I determined it was this one causing the concerning behavior.
Once I uninstalled it there were no further problems.

I'm not sure what I could do to troubleshoot this problem but feel free to ask for anymore information if this is intriguing.

I tried disabling every other extension but this one, to test it in isolation, and it still results in the sudden shutdown.
