इति लभेय। महतः प्रयोजनाय पाठकानाम् एवम् प्रस्तुते। अप्य् अत्र भवन्तस् साधयेयुः?

Given that the new Dharmamitra tools are so outstanding, I don't have strong conviction in pursuing vidyut.cheda.

Even if vidyut.cheda were a thin wrapper (I suspect it wouldn't be too thin) around something else (like dharmamitra), it would still be useful for downstream users like myself .
(The upstream providers usually don't care to tailor their sw to our needs)

I was thinking about something similar today. Even if it's not the highest quality, there is value in having a quick segmenter that can run on device without an internet connection. I will continue work on cheda.

The actual joining up can probably be done through vidyut-sandhi. I'll see if I can write up an example.
