It appears that To-Dos/Check Boxes in OneNote are not migrating as a Check Box List in Joplin.
If a note in OneNote contains list items in a To-Do/Checkbox format, those items get imported as a block of text, with no space where the checkbox would have been. Example:
In One Note Check Box would like this:
And once imported into Joplin the List Items will look like this:
Item OneItem TwoItem Three
I believe this is a known issue already, but the exporter is quite useful already without this ability.
Also, FYI, this behavior was when using version v0.4.0 Beta1 (x86).

Thank you for reporting the issue. I will try to have a look to this issue. It would be great to support list items.
However, it is not going to be simple because the information is lost during PanDoc export.
I see two possible solutions :
Try to tune pandoc export => but how PanDoc is supposed to know the the image checkbox image is a list item, or a checkbox or something else ?
Use Word interop to modify the DocX file before exporting it to MD with PanDoc => preferred solution but not straightforward
