Bug description
When clicking on a task attachment, it does not open.

To Reproduce

  1. Create a task
  2. Add an attachment to it
  3. Click the paperclip icon to open up the list of attachments
  4. Click on the attachment
  5. The "x" icon on the right turns briefly into a loading icon, but the attachment does not open

Expected behavior
When clicking on an attachment, I expect the attachment to open using the default system program for that file type.

Try adding a PDF. That worked for me. Does that work for you?

I also found that I cannot see that attachment in Tasks.org on Android. And when I add something in Tasks.org, it does not show up in Planify. Same for you?

Following your suggestion, I tried four different file types: pdf, mp4, png, ods. The only thing that I see is a change in the "x" icon to the right of the file that lasts for a split second, and then nothing. Nothing is opened. What system/environment/versions are you running?

I am sorry I can't be of any help with Tasks.org, I am not using it.

What system/environment/versions are you running?

Fedora 41 with GNOME 47 and Planify 4.11.6 from flathub.

You could try running Planify from the shell using something like this and try it again.

$ flatpak run io.github.alainm23.planify

Does it show something interesting?
