add visual block

Blockwise visual mode allows you to select columns and rows. It gives you more freedom to move around in this mode than the first two. There are also certain things you can do only in blockwise visual mode.

Ctrl-v " block-wise visual mode

On the bottom left of your Vim window, you will see either -- VISUAL --, -- VISUAL LINE -- or -- VISUAL BLOCK -- to indicate which visual mode you are in.
