File logging and verbosity #48
Description
After the change to using "debug" log messages, a lot of information is not included in the log file anymore. We should change that and introduce a separate verbosity setting in the configuration, that defaults to "debug", but can be made stricter. This should be aligned with the current way of activating/deactivating the file logging.
