EXWM-Edit doesn’t paste back into an X window if its title changed after invocation.
By default, EXWM only titles windows by process name, but it’s useful to have, say, your browser windows have descriptive titles (their actual titles) so you can tell multiples windows apart.
Chat apps and email clients include an unread messages ticker in the titles of their browser windows. Those are places I call EXWM-Edit from often, so this bug is a big problem.
When I finish editing with ‘C-c C-c’ if the title of the window I’m editing to has changed, EXWM-Edit makes a blank window-buffer with the same title as the window it was invoked from and which it can’t find anymore because the unread messages ticker went up while I was editing.
I’ve to kill the blank window and manually paste the text I’d written, when that happens.
