Without having the possibility to activate the build env and / or run env the VSConan extension might loose a huge selling point.

Would be good to already spend some thoughts on a possible alternative and/or join the discussions.

Do you think the new extension would solve the problem as mentioned in the issue?

I need to see it in more detailed manner.

@afri-bit Sorry I did not have the time yet to check on the new extension. However I suppose that that would be its purpose.
