Specifically these three lines:

There was some discussion on bitcointalk that this rhetoric is a bit over the top, and makes people think of timeshares or something, with even the quote's originator suggesting it should be changed.

I don't have anything in particular in mind, just opening an issue so people can put their thoughts down in a more focused thread for discussion.

I think we could probably afford to ditch the entire header as it's not really serving much purpose. Removing the dark background section and going straight to the white background bit below would certainly look cleaner too.

I agree with the suggestion to ditch the entire header. Once we have crafted a nice sounding copy for the landing page, we could bring something like a header or landing section back, but for now ...

the text sounds good but I still think that the slogan "It's a lifestyle" sounds a bit like a cult if I translate it to my first language. maybe this sounds not as strange as a native english speaker, I don't know.

Aeon aims to be a lightweight client, so my first suggestion would be to use the (small modified) header of the Features section, which is A lightweight digital currency and remove or edit the Features header.

it's maybe a bit boring and there is room for improvement but it's imo better than the current slogan.

Looks great but currently you can not run aeon core software on any mobile device. There are android versions of light wallets using mobile nodes. Yes the idea is for full mobile operation but Aeon is not there yet so having this information bannered at the top of the projects home page does not make sense currently imo.

I like the suggested change. Ditch the "lifestyle" part, and focus on lightweight, since we are a monero-lite.

I'm in agreement with @aeon1234

His concept looks neat and doesn't make me cringe or look the other way. Perhaps move this from an ISSUE and submit changes as a PR?
