Description
Another discussion about the frontpage of the website. The bulletpoints could use some touch ups...
Current:
- PoW algorithm: KangarooTwelve
- Max supply: ~18.4 million
- Block reward: smoothly decreasing
- Block time: 240 seconds
- Difficulty: retargets at every block
Why is that the first bullet point? Give people something they can understand. Few people will know what that means.
Max supply.. good one to have, also mention tail-emission
Block reward: smoothly decreasing -- not that important of a detail to stand on its own and not very meaningful statement
Block time: not an important distinguishing feature
Will someone know what Difficulty means for a currency? Is the retargeting difficulty that important? why not mention dynamic block size as that was a hot topic a few years back
Also, if there are checkmarks, you want it sound like a checklist of features that the coin possesses.
Suggestion:
- Fair and transparent public launch announcement
- No dev-tax, pre-mine, or pre-sale
- Disinflationary supply (~18 million)
- Dynamically adjusting block size and difficulty
- NIST secure hashing algorithm KangarooTwelve
or for last one "Uses latest NIST standard security"
