Tested by "Try Hero" > Maiev > fps on spawnpoint when nothing else is around. DX9 + Full extreme on NVidia.

Staging 2.0: ~134 fps (GPU 100%)
Staging 2.21: ~111 fps
Staging 2.21: ~155 fps (GPU 100%)
Staging 3.3: ~96 fps
Staging 3.3 + PBA: ~151 fps (GPU 100%)

And honorable mention with the last version that worked with DX11:
Staging 2.15 DX11: 60 fps (DX11 still had vsync cap then)

Had some crashes, especially with 2.0/2.15, some with 2.21. So I think Staging 3.3 is the most stable.

Now can someone with AMD GPU confirm it works for them aswell?

Lutris just put a Wine PBA 3.3 so let me try (AMD user here). Be back when done.

Tested by "Tavern Brawl" > This tavern Brawl, 1 lane, random heroes. Which means more effects more things on screen. > Malthael > fps on spawnpoint when nothing else is around. DX9 + All Low on AMD (Radeon R9 290)

Staging 3.3: ~55-80 fps (From previous runs, not today)
Staging 3.3 + PBA: ~55-150 fps (When screen empty, before heroes loads into the map, over 300 fps, when heroes loaded in with mounts ~150 fps only)
As soon as Malthael was on screen it decreased the fps to 70 fps, even all other 7 heroes on screen was ok (with PBA Wine). Sorry, no GPU load recorded.
