Hi,
I have a quick look at your patches and I thought that the critical section usage in buffer_heap.c might be optimized.
What do you think about the following patch? winepba-critical-section.patch.txt
Quick testing with 32 bits Starcraft 2 shows no regression and no perceivable performance change (not quite surprising).
