About tab + check for updates

Ok, this is the last suggestion I am making until you close the other ones as I do not want to overload you.

It is common for software to have a about tab that contains the author, a link to the project site + source code, license information, and a way to check for updates.

Maybe just start with manual update checks and add automatic update check later if it is too difficult.

Haha, it never ocurred to me to implement an About tab! yeah this is definitely a priority.

I do intend to add auto updates but I still ddont know how. But its definitely a good idea to have it at least report to the user.

One way to do it is to tag every release and have it pull it from there.

You can also create a branch for every release and pull it directly from the branch then use something like travis ci or appveyor to make a build.
