Controlling font size

On a 4K monitor are there any options with which one can attach the font used to that of the system font or some other measure to control the size? This screen shot shows what my terminal and browser are capable of displaying but not the desktop app.

Electron has a built-in flag for this. You can pass --force-device-scale-factor=2 (or 1.5, 1.25, etc.) to scale the UI up on HiDPI displays.

For the AppImage, you'd run it like this:

./claude-desktop-*.AppImage --force-device-scale-factor=2

For the .deb install, you can edit the desktop launcher or wrap it in a shell script that passes the flag through. There's no built-in config mechanism in this project for custom Electron flags yet — #354 is tracking the broader font size question, and adding a way to pass through user-defined Electron flags would cover both.

A few things that would help narrow this down: What desktop environment and display server are you on (e.g. GNOME/Wayland, KDE/X11)? What's your system scaling set to? And are you on the .deb or AppImage? Some desktop environments handle HiDPI auto-detection better than others, so the answer might differ depending on your setup.
