I tried running the server (Step 5.1) node ./dist/server.js
After executing the command and clicking the provided URL, I receive an error from Google:
Access blocked: mcp-demo has not completed the Google verification process

This prevents me from proceeding with the server setup.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this Google verification issue? Is there an additional step or configuration required that might not be in the current instructions?

Same here. I'm trying to enter the 403 into terminal but still fatal.
Claude Docs MCP Access has not completed the Google verification process. The app is currently being tested, and can only be accessed by developer-approved testers. If you think you should have access, contact the developer.

Hi all,

You need to set up your own Google Cloud project and OAuth credentials.

1. Create Your Own Google Cloud Project
   Go to Google Cloud Console.
   Create a new project (or select an existing one).

2. Set Up OAuth Consent Screen
   In the left menu, go to APIs & Services > OAuth consent screen.
   Choose “External” and fill out the required info.
   Add your own Google account as a test user in the “Test users” section.

3. Enable APIs & Create Credentials
   Enable the Google Docs API and Google Drive API for your project.
   Go to APIs & Services > Credentials and create an OAuth client ID (choose “Desktop app”).
   Download the credentials.json file and place it in your project directory.

4. Run the Server & Authenticate
   Follow the rest of the setup instructions in the README.
   When prompted, log in with the same Google account you added as a test user.
