Kali's hxcdumptool comes with outdated documentation

I'm not sure where to open an issue for this. The hcxdumptool on kali-rolling 2025.3 is v. 7.0.0. The man page lists v. 6.2.5, and has errors such as including --enable_status, --filtermode, --filtermode_ap, and probably others. These long flags don't work on v7.0.0.

I am neither a package maintainer of Kali nor of Debian and I do not have any influence on the content of distribution packages.

A good place to report such distribution related package problems is always the bug tracker of your distribution:

• for Debian

You should know that Kali gets its packages from Debian. That's the reason why I mentioned the Debian bug tracker, too.

The package hcxdumptool 7.0.0-1 has been added to kali-rolling.

BTW:

• this is the man page of hcxdumptool which references to its help menu and your comment reminded me to clean it up
