[BUG] Online User Count displays 0 when users are active

Describe the bug
The online user counter in the chat interface displays "0" even when multiple users are actively connected and chatting in the room.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the application in two different browsers or incognito windows.
2. Log in as 'User A' in the first window and join a chat room.
3. Log in as 'User B' in the second window and join the same chat room.
4. Observe the "Online Users" count in the chat header.

Expected behavior
The counter should reflect the accurate number of users currently connected to the socket/room (e.g., it should show "2").
