Docker Build Push/Tag/PR Container Build ✅ New
Swagger Docs Push/Release Documentation ✅ Active

🚀 Integration Points

GitHub Actions → Jenkins

  • Trigger: Automatic on push/PR
  • Purpose: CI/CD pipeline execution
  • Status: ✅ Configured and working

Code Quality → Pull Requests

  • Trigger: On PR creation/updates
  • Purpose: Quality gates before merge
  • Status: ✅ Ready to use

Docker → Container Registry

  • Trigger: On push to main/develop or tag creation
  • Purpose: Container image distribution
  • Status: ✅ Ready (requires Dockerfile)

📝 Configuration Requirements

Required Secrets

GitHub Secrets (Optional)

  • CODECOV_TOKEN - For code coverage reporting (optional)
  • JENKINS_URL - Jenkins server URL (already configured)
  • JENKINS_USER - Jenkins username (already configured)
  • JENKINS_TOKEN - Jenkins API token (already configured)

Required Files

Dockerfile (For Docker Build)

Create a Dockerfile in repository root to enable Docker builds:

FROM eclipse-temurin:21-jre-alpine
WORKDIR /app
COPY target/*.jar app.jar
EXPOSE 8082
ENTRYPOINT ["java", "-jar", "app.jar"]

Maven Plugins (Optional but Recommended)

Add to pom.xml for enhanced quality checks:

<!-- Jacoco for code coverage -->
<plugin>
    <groupId>org.jacoco</groupId>
    <artifactId>jacoco-maven-plugin</artifactId>
    <version>0.8.11</version>
</plugin>

<!-- Checkstyle for code style -->
<plugin>
    <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
    <artifactId>maven-checkstyle-plugin</artifactId>
    <version>3.3.1</version>
</plugin>

<!-- SpotBugs for static analysis -->
<plugin>
    <groupId>com.github.spotbugs</groupId>
    <artifactId>spotbugs-maven-plugin</artifactId>
    <version>4.8.2.2</version>
</plugin>
