Possible for Dynamic Mask to mask relative to the scene space rather than the source space? #977
-
I'm trying to make a mask area that stays in place (relative to the scene) and allows you to move a source around in that masked area. So a predefined "cutout" area in a scene, where you can move a source around without the cutout mask moving with it. Is this possible? I'm just trying to achieve pan-behind cropping. |

Wait, I'm dumb... just apply the filter to a scene, and put the contents that you want to mask into that scene. Then add that scene as a source in whatever scenes you want. I actually first tried putting the filter on a group, but a group's bounding box is determined by its content's bounds, so the mask would slide around, but scenes are a static size. Done! Gunna leave this post up in case anyone else is trying to do the same thing <3 |
