Disposition and Personality are the mechanics that adds depth to the Interaction skills (Dark Heresy 2e Core Rulebook p. 277). The NPC sheet should include a section for displaying this so the GM can reference it easily. It would need:

  • Disposition as a stat that can be clicked to open a roll dialogue, same as a Characteristic or Skill. This roll is done as a Private GM roll.
  • Method for the GM to quickly modify Disposition without opening another tab or window. Perhaps a small text field where they enter the modifier as a signed integer with an "Apply" button.
  • Section to drag-and-drop/manually enter the NPC's Personality table. Should include rows for Charm, Command, Deceive, Inquiry, Intimidate, and Scrutiny; Columns for Modifier and Effect. To this end, it might be best to represent Personalities as an Item.

Bonus points:

  • Rolling an Interaction test while targeting an NPC automatically extracts the test difficulty and effect for using that Interaction skill from the NPC's personality table. The difficulty is automatically applied to the test, and the test dialogue creates a prompt to apply the Disposition change, similar to how a prompt is generated to roll damage on a successful attack.
  • Description section for Personality table
