High priority to-do. List of sponsors at the bottom.

At the moment, the marketing team does not have a design for arranging the logos on the website yet. We could ask them to do so, or we could figure something out by ourselves e.g. taking inspiration from other hackathons' websites.

Rough outline for this task:

  1. Create a new branch e.g. feature/sponsors-section;
  2. Compile the logos of all the sponsors, with (preferably) transparent background and (preferably) monotone color (= one of the DandyHacks theme colors). We could ask the marketing team to do this;
  3. Figure out how to arrange the logos. Again, could offload this to the marketing team. It's a matter of compromise, like in a relationship;
  4. Make a section with a heading and the logos;
  5. Link to the section with an item in the navigation bar.

Pay attention to responsiveness; the section must look good on all devices.

Here is the list of sponsors:

  • Hajim
  • Film and Media Department
  • ECE
  • CS Department
  • Foundry Digital
  • English Department
  • M&T Bank
  • DS (GIDS) Department
  • DMS Department
  • Greene Center
  • Wegmans
  • Monster Energy
  • Google Cloud
  • Ultrapath
  • StickerOut

For more details on what each sponsor sponsors, see the pinned message in the #marketing channel (in the organizing team Discord).
