Describe the bug
Compiler returns an "Undefined control sequence" error in line 123 of FRIteza.cls (\ExecuteOptionsX command) on Windows.

To Reproduce
Follow Quick start instructions on https://github.com/UL-FRI/thesis-BDR. The error occurs at:

cd demo-asbook
../editor-cfg/build alpha

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10
  • TeX edition: MiKTeX 2.9

Additional context
Same happens when trying to compile with Texmaker and TeXstudio.

It seems that the 2020 LaTeX distributions introduced a couple of incompatibilities. Until these are resolved please use Overleaf, where compilation works if one explicitly sets TeX Live version 2019.

If using TeX Live version 2019 does not help, use TeX Live version 2018.

Overleaf has time limit of 1 minute which may not be enough for large texts. Of course, one can use premium plan with larger time limit, but another option is to get older version of LaTeX. Unfortunately, older MikTeX versions seem to be unavailable, but TexLive 2018 can be found here: https://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/tex/historic/systems/texlive/2018/. And MacTeX for macOS here: https://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/tex/historic/systems/mactex/2018/.
