+This document describes the policy for the usage of AI tools in software testing activities.

+## Policy

+- This policy should be used in conjunction with our policy on [AI code generation tools]([url](https://github.com/UKHO/docs/blob/main/software-engineering-policies/CodeGenerationTools/CodeGenerationToolsPolicy.md))
+- Only AI tools already approved for use can be used. Approved corporate AI tools can be used, in addition to any approved through the standard tech radar governance process.
+- Documents classified as Official can be used with AI
+- DO NOT USE any documents with a classification higher than official with AI tools
+- DO NOT USE AI tools to process any Personal Information for the purpose of software testing
+- DO NOT USE any data that will cause harm to the organisation, including access tokens or other secrets
+- If in doubt seek guidance from the Lead Test Engineers
