@CGNonofr Should we release a new major version?
Why?

The revised treemending approach. We introduced the postinstall with 6.0.0 and now we change it again (documentation update is a must 🙂) and this hopefully makes people expect aware something changed
Update to v9 of vscode-languageclient and vscode-languageserver
