Open In new tab option missing from search? #7394

The 'Open In new tab' option is available when you right-click notes in the note tree or on links, but it isn't implemented for search results—neither in the current version nor in previous ones. Search results only respond to left-clicks and don't have a context menu for opening in a new tab. It's possible you remember this feature from the note tree or links, but there's no evidence it was ever part of the search results UI or that it was removed from there. If you want to open a search result in a new tab, you'll need to locate the note in the tree and use the context menu there, or manually open it in a new tab. Source To reply, just mention @dosu. In the latest Trilium 0.99.1 Windows version, I can still see the Open with option when I right-click. |

I could swear that in older versions, when you did a search for a string and the list of results were produced, you used to be able to right-click the result you wanted to open and tell it to open in a new Trilium tab. But now I don't see it anymore. Am I missing something? Am I not remembering that correctly?
