The "Link" function in Trilium's Mindmap creates a connection from one node to another, making it easy to navigate between related notes or concepts. The "Bidirectional Link" function creates a two-way connection, so both nodes reference each other—this is especially useful for mapping relationships where context flows both ways and for quickly seeing all related notes from either direction. These features help you visualize and traverse your knowledge graph more intuitively, supporting workflows like Zettelkasten or networked thought details. Trilium's Mindmap is built on the Cytoscape.js library, which powers the interactive graph visualization and manipulation in the mind map view details. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? @dosu is partially right.
Both link and bi-directional links allow you to create an arrow between two nodes on the map. You simply right click from one of the nodes, select link/bidirectional link option and then click on the target note: ![]()
