Quick creation of specific notes

A QoL feature that I didn't see is to be able to create a note of specific type directly from hierarchy. Let's say pressing the + button will bring a small panel to select the note type. It's quite slow to always having to open the text note and moving to the second tab to change its type.

Use ~child:template like the built-in Journal does.

Oh, I didn't know about this; would be useful if the plus button would give a similar window (maybe a setting to customize the notes you see in quick action). Thanks!

Probably that would annoy a lot of old users that rely on the + button being fast.
I suppose adding a right click menu entry for it would work but not sure if it's worth the added complexity, since most users would might not even notice it.
