Tribler 8.0.7, if you set the sort order by status in the torrents list and, then complete a hash check on a torrent, the percentage progress during the check makes it move through the sort order.

Example... there are 101 torrents in the list and completion of each one of the torrents is at 0% through to 100%.

Select the torrent that is at 50% completion and complete a hash check.

Watch the torrent progress through the torrent list sort order from 0% to 100% and then back to 50%.

Alternate options during the hash check period;

  1. Stay at 50%, in the sort order list, until completion of the hash check. If the hash check concludes the torrent is, for example, at 60% update the sort order on completion.
  2. During hash checking move the torrent in the list based on the result of the hash check. For example a torrent at 50% only moves through the list until it reaches 50%.
  3. The torrent being hash checked is moved to a "hash checking" sort order. If there are multiple torrents being hash checked they are grouped and processed in order.
