I would like to request a CLI version of Tribler for Linux, particularly Debian 12.

Hope it's possible. I mean everything is possible. Let's hope it happens instead.

I'm impressed because Tribler works even with my VPN on, something I have tried for a very long time to accomplish.

This would be cool.

To manage your expectations: this is not something we'll likely be able to pull off in the short-term. For now, the REST API is our only programmatic way to control Tribler.

I know that there are projects like Restish if you want a quick REST->CLI fix, but the experience is probably not going to be great.
